By registering for an MMCD course, I acknowledge and agree to MMCD’s Course Cancellation, Transfer, and Refund Policy, including the $55.00 + GST cancellation fee, eligibility limits for refunds and transfers, and the use of the Arlo customer portal for self-service registration management. I understand that courses may be rescheduled or cancelled due to enrolment levels or unforeseen circumstances

MMCD Course Cancellation, Transfer, and Refund Policy 2

This policy applies to all MMCD courses (online and in-person) registered through the MMCD Arlo website.

  1. Registration Management and Self-Service (Arlo Customer Portal)

MMCD uses the Arlo training management system to administer course registrations.

Registered participants may log in to the MMCD customer portal via the MMCD website to view:

  • Upcoming and completed courses
  • Course details and schedules
  • Invoices and payment records
  • Certificates of completion (where applicable) Where permitted under this policy, participants may also self-manage their registration, including:
  • Requesting or processing cancellations
  • Transferring registrations to another available session
  • Substituting another participant from the same organization Self-service options are subject to the time limits, eligibility rules, and administrative fees outlined in this policy. MMCD staff are not required to access or manage registrations on behalf of participants where self-service options are available.
  1. Cancellations by Registrants

If you are unable to attend a course for which you are registered, you may request a cancellation either:

  • Through the MMCD customer portal, or
  • By email to admin@mmcd.net

All cancellation requests are subject to the following terms:

  • A cancellation fee of $55.00 + GST applies to all cancellations.
  • This fee covers payment processing charges, administrative costs, and system fees.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method once the cancellation is confirmed by MMCD.
  • Cancellation requests received less than five (5) business days before the course start date may not be eligible for a refund.

Where a refund is not available due to late cancellation, MMCD may, at its discretion:

  • Allow the registrant to transfer to another available session, or
  • Permit a substitution of another participant from the same organization, provided course prerequisites are met.
  1. Transfers and Substitutions Substituting a Participant
  • Registrations may be substituted with another individual from the same organization, subject to course prerequisites.
  • Substitutions may be completed through the customer portal or requested in writing prior to the course start date.

Transferring to Another Course Session

  • Transfers to another available MMCD course session may be permitted, subject to availability.
  • Transfers are not guaranteed and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, particularly when requested within five (5) business days of the course start date.
  • Each registration may be transferred once only.
  • Transfer eligibility and availability may vary by course type or delivery format.
  1. Course Postponement or Cancellation by MMCD

MMCD reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, or cancel a course if minimum enrolment numbers are not met or due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Instructor illness or unavailability
  • Facility or technical issues
  • Other circumstances beyond MMCD’s control

If a course is postponed or cancelled by MMCD:

  • Registered participants will be notified by email as soon as reasonably possible.
  • Participants will be offered the option to:
    • Transfer their registration to the rescheduled course date, or
    • Receive a full refund of registration fees paid.

MMCD is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by participants.

By completing registration for any MMCD course through the MMCD Arlo website, you acknowledge and agree to:

  • This Cancellation, Transfer, and Refund Policy
  • The $55.00 + GST cancellation fee
  • The use of Arlo’s customer portal for self-service registration management
  • The possibility of course rescheduling or cancellation due to enrolment levels or unforeseen circumstances
